About Me:
I am a follower of Christ. Husband. Dad. Son. & Brother.
In January 1979, my parents welcomed me into this world. I was raised along with my sister and brother by both my parents to be smart, hard-working, and independent. I saw the example set by my dad on how to provide and be present in the lives of his children. My sister, brother, and I were raised attending church in southwest GA. We spent many weekends traveling 45 minutes to see our grandparents and cousins.
In December 1995, my family and I moved to Greensboro, NC when my dad transferred jobs with his longtime employer. This turned my world upside down as I was in the middle of my junior year in high school at my favorite school and I was dating someone I meet during summer youth camp at Ormond Beach. I was so upset over this move, I swore when I turned 18, I would be moving back to southwest GA to finish high school. As I began to immerse myself in church and high school sports, Greensboro eventually grew on me.
In the summer of 1996, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior while on youth mission trip to Pennsylvania. After high school, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life, so I attended Campbell Universtiy. Nearing the end of my freshman year and still undecided with my major, I was seeking a car audio installation job for the summer. While I was searching the web for a job in those early days of the internet, I came across an installation job. I interviewed for the job and even though this terrible picture was painted to me by my manager about long days, I took the job.
This job that I took was as an assistant home security technician. That job turned into a lifelong career that I have been in since the summer of 1998. In late 2001/early 2002, myself and my manager that hired me in the summer of 1998, started our own security company. We operated that company until the economy took a downturn in 2006. In 2006, I also meet and married my wife while working at Cracker Barrel.
During this time, I began to understand the difficulties associated with having a new wife and son. In the summer of 2007, we welcomed our little girl into the family. And towards the end of the summer of 2009, we welcomed our 2nd son into the family. We were now a family of 5 with 3 kids under the age of 4. Since then, life has been a bit of a blur as we have been navigating the struggles of life. We have seen our peaks and we have seen our vailleys but through it all we have had each other.
During these years of marriage and raising a family, like many people, I have spent many hours of many days, weeks, months, and years away from my wife and kids as I focused on providing for them. Over the last several years, I have watched some really close friends make a move to become more financially independent. They have been able create mulitple ways to earn money while reducing the amount of time they need to dedicate to their business.
I want that. Come along with me as I venture into this great expanse of affilate marketing
